In the Beginning

The Eden Revival Church is a christian non-government organisation. It has worked with communities in uganda since 1983.
Bishop Morris Bukenya founded the ministry with a mission to take healing to the hurting world. Since its establishment the ministry has expanded it operations to 12 districts namely Fortportal, Rakai, Kampala, Mukono, Kayunga, Mpigi, Masaka, Kalangala, Tororo, Kyenjojo, Wakiso and Mbarara.
Currently the church has branched in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania. It is important to note that 90% of the local churchs are located in rural settings. This pattern is quite challenging in terms of monitoring, logistics and coordination.
God has gracious, the ministry has widened its services from preaching the word of God, to Education, Health and catering for destitute Children. The ministry has also been involved in providing emergency relief supplies to the needy through other organisations like World Vision Uganda.

Dr Bishop Harry Morris Bukenya

got saved in 1972 and founded Eden Revival
Ministries in 1983.

He is the senior pastor of Eden Revival Church
Wandegeya & General Overseer of Eden Revival Ministries, which boasts
of over 80 churches spread across Uganda and neighboring countries
including Rwanda and Tanzania.

Bishop Morris is an elder on the National Fellowship of Born Again
Pentecostal Churches (NFBAPC) & Evangelical Fellowship of Uganda
(EFU); two recognized Christian faith umbrella bodies in Uganda. He
serves as the chairman of the Constitutional Review Commission on the
NFBAPC.
He is also the President of Bridge of Faith and the Director of Born in
Africa; an international children’s organization.

Pastoral Team

Eden Revival has a wonderful pastoral team with various spiritual and professional giftings. GOD has blessed us with Pastors, Evangalists, Prophets, Teachers as well as Engineers, Doctors , Architects and Medical & finance experts. This is emulated through out the church, enough for the church to prosper spiritually , physically and finacially.

HOW DO WE DO THAT?

Total man is made up of, Spirit, Soul and Body.
Therefore, the Vision addresses these three components of a man.

 Healing the Spirit

This is done through

  1. Preaching the Uncompromised word of God every Sunday service, conferences held annually and during the weekly church programs.
  2. Worldwide Church planting.  God has been so faithful, many people have been converted to christianity and numerous churches have been planted in different regions across Uganda

 Healing the Soul (Mind)

This is done through

  1. Building schools at all levels from kindergarten to universities as a means of curbing illiteracy and improving people's lives through education. For Example, Mt.Carmel Schools in Kayunga, Grace Primary school in Lumuli Gomba.

Healing the Body (Physical).

To meet the physical needs

  1. Building hospitals to cater for the healthy needs. As the saying goes, "A healthy mind lives in a healthy body. For example Rapha medical center in Lumuli Gomba
